PANAMA MARITIME VIII World Conference & Exhibition is a conference organized by the Panamanian Maritime Law Association, which gather more than 200 lawyers; the Panama Chamber of Shipping, with more than 100 companies from the maritime sector; the Panama Canal Authority and the Panama Maritime Authority.

This conference, of national and international importance, is considered one of the main maritime events in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The main theme for this edition is “Business Opportunities Emerging from the Panama Canal Expansion”

Panama Maritime VIII is meant to be a showcase of all the countries of the region and for distinguished participants to view highlights of maritime and port management in each country. It will serve to promote our countries and the opportunities that the maritime industry currently has to offer. Throughout there will be discussions on topics such as the Panama Canal, Labour & Seaferers, World Fleet, Legal Matters, Regulatory Matters, and Business Opportunities regarding the Expansion of the Canal.
